In the immortal words of Michael Jackson ;
"Take my name just let me be"
I feel like I may come across a little scatter-brainy with my blog and I apologize for that, but know that you will ALWAYS be getting complete and utter honesty from my heart. My heart loves the truth and truth always prevails, and I believe the truth of Michael Jackson will someday be realized again.
Remember how he used to make us cry when he created "Man in the Mirror", "We are the World", and "Heal the World" all for humanitarian efforts so that he could somehow better a hurting and devastated Earth????? How on earth could those pieces of work be blatantly disregarded by our "dependable" media when the character of Michael Jackson went into question??? Only the most malicious and salacious journalists/news stations would be at peace with an action that called for such a course. The question we would then hear continually from the media for the next 16 years would be:
"Is the world's best entertainer truly what he seems??"
In my life, I can't count the times I envied the people that were lucky enough to work with such a man. Impecible taste, perfectionist work, groundbreaking ideas and a gentle spirit are all attributes you don't normally find in a normal person, let alone the King himself.
Hard to believe, I know.
How I envied the dancer in the red dress in "Smooth Criminal" almost with a passion, because I so badly wanted to be the one dancing with him. Being a trained and professional dancer since the early age of 2, I had always hoped and dreamed that one day I would work for the King himself. Unfortunately, his life was cut short and that possibility will never exist again.
In addition to being a professional dancer/singer, I have also graduated with my degree in Political Science and currently hold a 4.0 in my masters program. You may ask yourself
"Why is a masters student that also holds down a full time job blogging about a celebrity she never even knew?? Can't her time be better spent elsewhere?"
My answer to that is "No."
The King is dead and the media killed him. I feel that it is part of my duty to uncover the truth of our "Up and to the moment" media, and reveal that after 29 years of torture they finally got their way. What disgusts me most now is the insincere and blatant praise they smoother over Michael just to retain their viewers. Heaven forbid they risk losing the nation of Michael fans that live all over the world.
Oh and P.S.: to those readers who don't understand the respect and adoration us Michael Jackson fans have - try not to label us as eccentric or erratic. I am an educated woman that does research on EVERYTHING she chooses to believe, so try not to invalidate me before you have heard what I have to say.
You may be enlightened.
