I just saw the media do coverage of the destruction in Haiti again, and I have to tell you that my heart breaks for the Haitians. I WANT to believe that all our relief efforts are being able to side step their government, however the ugly truth is that our money and efforts constantly get interfered with by corrupt governing bodies. This is a separate issue that I could create a whole new blog in itself but I will stick to the topic at hand.
How much is TOO MUCH??? HOW MANY TIMES DO WE NEED TO SEE THE SAME DEAD BODY IN THE STREET??? It's too late for that person so RESPECT the family!! But, OH NO, the media must ride the waves of sensationalism and continue to show the most gruesome and disrespectful footage over and over and over again.
This completely ties into my future blogs that you will become well educated on. I will not respond or post any hateful or slanderous responses on my blog so don't waste your precious finger energy.
I am the ultimate fan of Michael Jackson, and think that there are a few that could TRY to hold a flame to my regard of the King of Pop but not successfully. I am beginning this blog to share my utter content and loathing of our "informative and up-to-the-moment" media. Their sensationalism has been transparent to me for over 20 years, and I am tired of holding my tongue. I will share documented proof of their obvious malicious intentions to tear down and destroy the King of Pop, and how the all mighty dollar and a shot at immediate fame through no talent of their own ultimately killed and murdered one of the greatest loved artists in the world.
I am writing this blog to educate and inform the world about how an unrelenting evil finally murdered the worlds most greatest humanitarian entertainer.
Hi Ginger,
ReplyDeleteI don't know if you've read the article by Chuck Dakota, but I found it informative and heartwarming. I see now that there are additional parts! Sorry, I am unable to copy and paste the link, but you can find it if you google 'Chuck Dakota' It's titled "Interviewing Michael Jackson: My 3 Hours With The King of Pop."
Enjoy!
Peace
Thank you soooo much!! I will find it and read it. I can never gain too much knowledge, and I believe that someday the truth of Michael Jackson will be revealed and realized. You can help me do this!
ReplyDeleteOh dear...I read the additional parts last night and the comments on the link for the Chuck Dakota piece. The majority of the comments question the authenticity and grammar (ooops!) of any interview and subsequent article ever happening. I'm so sorry.
ReplyDeleteMonths ago, I found a source that I find extremely resourceful. Please let me know if you are interested.
Enjoy your evening and...Peace.
Peace
I am interested. What is your source?
ReplyDeleteSorry, I didn't mean to sound so cryptic. It's a link for resources on Michael Jackson. It's jetzi-mjvideo.com/books/.
ReplyDeleteNo worries. I will check it out.
ReplyDeleteHope my computer doesn't explode :-)
I am so sorry Ginger, I really admire your undeniable passion for justice and love for Michael, but this picture from the ambulance is not right in my opinion. Don't you think it is a sensational shot or what is called the money shot? My intention is not to offend you, you've put a lot of work into your blog and I respect you for that.
ReplyDeleteI respect your opinion. I hate this shot for that very reason and I was trying to depict that, but I will change it for you if you like.
ReplyDeleteIt rips my heart out to look at everytime I am here. I am so sorry to have offended you.
Hello Ginger,
ReplyDeleteThank you for your respect of my opinion. It means so much to me. You have my respect also. Again, thank you. There's no need to apologise because it wasn't your intention to offend. I know that. I don't want to come off as critical or all high and mighty. I am neither.
I had a hard time looking at that picture when it was published and at the time, I just thought it was in extremely poor taste. The picture was taken while Michael was being transported to the hospital by a photographer of the National Photo Group. They took and profited from that picture. To me, that's where one of the problem lies with some media outlets/agencies. The link to the story behind it is: vanityfair.com/culture/features/2009/07/michael-jackson-photo200907. I feel that taking the picture was invasive of the man's privacy. He was in an ambulance for goodness sake. The bodyguards asked politely for them to not take pictures. It was not taken from a distance. The camera was pressed up against the window of the EMS vehicle. Maybe they didn't know at the time that he was dead, but either way, it is wrong, classless and tacky in my opinion. Money was made photographing a man in a very vulnerable state. I think I've read somewhere that media agencies paid six figures for the picture. I know it sounds corny and I know it is not an original question but, do these people ever think for a moment how would they feel if something like that was done to them? How do they think their loved ones would react to seeing something like that? Sadly I have a pretty good hunch the answer is no, they didn't consider it. Money is the fodder to their greed. That makes me very sad about the world today. We think we're advancing and civilised, but really, there's this cold, brutal and savage mentality present.
Peace and take care.
Emmdeep,
ReplyDeleteYour insight and support is unmatched and well-appreciated. I have not talked to you for a while and hope that all is well in your life.
I have shared with many friends the information you have been so kind as to share with me, and slowly one by one I am getting supporters.
Of course, we get shoved into a catagory that describes us as "over-zealous" and "rabid" fans so it is important that we inform people how educated and un-influenced we actually are.
It is hard to bring this illumination to a bunch of "media-sheep" because that would require them to admit that they are actually influenced in their thinking but there is hope there.
Please write back when you can emmdeep. Wishing you well in all of your endeavors!
Hi Ginger,
ReplyDeleteMy, how you've grown! Sorry, I have been ok, but busy. Thank you for asking. You are so sweet! I will write more tomorrow or Saturday. Hang in there, dedicated good work takes time.
Oh, I don't have the channel for the Aphrodite Jones special next week. Too bad, I was really looking forward to watching it. Maybe it will be available elsewhere at a later date.
I hope all is well with you.
Peace!
