Fact & What Was Published


Fact: In 1986, Michael was visiting a new innovative burn center for burn victims, and was exploring new burn treatment machines within the hospital due to the fact that he had experienced a traumatic burn to the scalp during a commercial taping for Pepsi Cola.

What was Published: In 1986, the tabloids ran a story claiming that Michael Jackson slept in a hyperbolic oxygen chamber to slow the aging process; he was pictured lying down in a glass box.
